April 8 · World Diamond Day

Passed down.
Long before us. Long after us.
Natural Diamond

Dear Friends,

Passover begins this year on the evening of April 12. Before we gather to retell the oldest stories, the ones about endurance, about what survives, about what gets passed down, we found ourselves thinking about one of our own. A stone once overlooked, found where no one thought to look, and studied patiently over years before revealing what it could truly become. The kind of story a natural diamond carries quietly, formed under pressure, shaped over time, and passed forward long after the moment itself.

On April 8, the world celebrates its first-ever World Diamond Day, a global invitation for anyone who has ever held a natural diamond and felt something they couldn’t quite explain to share that story. We’ll be sharing ours, and we’d love to hear yours as well. Tell us your diamond story, the real one. Not the occasion, the feeling. What it meant, what it still means. Send a paragraph, a photo, or a short video by April 15, and we’ll select three to share with our community. Then everyone votes.

The story that moves people most will receive a piece of natural rough diamond jewelry, a ring or pendant from a private selection, the beginning of another story. You can also take part on April 8 by posting your own natural diamond moment using #WorldDiamondDay and #NaturalDiamonds and tagging @premiergem, we’ll be watching and resharing throughout the day.
